ROBERT L. FRANSEN
President

Robert Fransen is the President of Timberland Partners. Prior to forming Timberland Partners in 1993, he was an apartment sales broker for CB Richard Ellis. He is a member of the National Multi Housing Council, Minnesota Multi Housing Association, National Association of Industrial & Office Properties and holds the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation.

TERRY L. COOK
Senior Vice President of Asset Management |
Terry Cook is the head of the Asset Management Department for the Timberland Partners Portfolio. He is also a Partner in a number of the Timberland Partners partnerships. Possessing a unique ability to quickly reposition under-performing assets by applying aggressive marketing strategies, Terry has a proven track record of obtaining maximum investor yields. He joined the firm in 1993 and has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in operating both residential and commercial real estate. In addition, he has been responsible for overseeing the repositioning, construction and renovation activities of numerous properties. He is an active member in the following apartment and commercial real estate organizations: Minnesota Multi Housing Association National Association of Industrial & Office Properties Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors Building Owners and Managers Institute
Trained at Brown College in communications, Terry also attended the University of Northern Iowa and recently obtained his RPA (Real Property Administrator) designation from the University of St. Thomas

BECKY YONTS
Senior Vice President of Operations |
Becky Yonts is Senior Vice President of Operations for Timberland Partners. She brings to the company a wealth of experience and knowledge with over 30 years in the multi-housing industry.
Prior to joining Timberland Partners, Becky was President and Owner of Multi-Housing Partners, Inc., a contract leasing, training and consulting company. Before forming her own company in 2001 she was Vice President of Operations at Apartment Search, now known as Relocation Central Apartment Search, one of the nation’s largest apartment locator services. She was responsible for overseeing sales and operations.
Becky has been a featured speaker and trainer nationwide. She was host to the prestigious MHA (Minnesota Multi-Housing Association) MADACS award ceremony, and presenter for the MHA Perspectives and Working Together Conferences. Her company, Multi-Housing Partners, received the MADACS “Vendor of the Year” award in 2002. Becky trains CAM classes for NAA (National Apartment Association) and CRM classes for MHA.
Becky is a CRM (Certified Resident Manager) and holds a Minnesota Real Estate Broker's License. She recently served on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Multi-Housing Association, serves on the Education Committee and Chairs the Strategic Public Relations Committee. Becky is a member of the Minnesota Multi-Housing Association and the National Multi-Housing Council.

PEGGY ZEADOW
Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing |
Peggy Zeadow is the Vice President of Multi-Housing for Timberland Partners and oversees the management activities of all apartment communities in the portfolio. With more than 17 years of hands on experience working with conventional, tax credit, subsidized and non-profit apartment communities and programs, she provides a wealth of industry insight to every property in the portfolio. Her strong management skills focus on team building with property managers and on-site staff, while her marketing expertise results in the creation of creative ideas which drive traffic to properties even under challenging conditions. Peggy is an active member in the following apartment real estate organizations: Minnesota Multi Housing Association Iowa Landlords Association Texas Apartment Association National Multi-Housing Council National Center for Housing Management She is also certified by the National Center for Housing Management as a Certified Financial Manager (1995) Certified Manager of Housing (1996) and Certified Property Manager (1997). Peggy holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Coe College.

LAREN HOLCOMB
Vice President of Asset Management |
Laren Holcomb joined Timberland Partners in 1999. Prior to joining Timberland Partners, Laren spent three years with Valley Realty, Inc., a real estate development company based in North Dakota. Laren worked on the development, construction and management of multi-family apartment communities and single family homes. Laren started as a Property Manager with Timberland Partners, Inc. managing a portfolio which grew to over 1500 apartment units in the Midwest and Texas. Laren has helped in the acquisition and repositioning of over 2000 apartment units covering seven states during his tenure with Timberland Partners.
Laren graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1996 with a degree in Finance and a minor in Economics. Laren holds a Minnesota Real Estate License and belongs to the following organizations:

DAN HOIBY
Vice President of Accounting |
Dan Hoiby is the Vice President of Accounting Services for Timberland Partners, Inc. and the entire Timberland properties portfolio. He oversees all accounting functions and plays an active role in maintaining the company benefit package.
Prior to joining Timberland Partners in 2002, Dan was Senior Accountant at a local public accounting firm Bertram, Vallez, Kaplan & Talbot, Ltd. At BVKT, he specialized in the following industries; manufacturing, construction and rental real estate.
Dan received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from St. Cloud State University, College of Business. He also achieved his CPA designation during his public accounting career. Dan maintains an active membership with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.
