1. How do you determine if my application is approved?
We do a thorough background check on every applicant, including credit check, rental reference check, verification of employment and income, and criminal background check. We use these factors to determine a score for each applicant, and we use that score to determine whether an application is approved. All are welcome to apply.

2. Are you kid-friendly?
Sure! Several of our communities offer a children's creativity center, and many also host monthly activities for kids. All people are welcome to apply, regardless of family status.

3. What is your criminal policy?
In general, we do not accept applicants who have been convicted of crimes against people (violence, threats, etc.) property (theft, vandalism, etc.) or society, notably drug convictions. Also, all of our communities are Crime-Free Drug-Free, which means that all residents sign a lease addendum promising not to break the law while living in our community. Any illegal activity is seen as a violation of the lease and may be terms for eviction.

4. Do you take pets?
Many of our communities do take pets. Please contact your chosen community to see if you can bring your furry friend with you.

5. Do you offer short term leases?
This also depends upon the individual community. Please contact your community of choice. But we think you'll like it so much that you'll want to stay for an entire year and more!

6. Can I personalize my apartment?
Of course! We want you to make your apartment your home. Some communities offer free accent walls - we will even paint your wall for you in a beautiful color. Be sure to get written approval from your community manager before making any changes to your apartment, including paint.
