Marie came to the Pines of Cloverlane with no previous experience in property management, but has quickly become one of the company’s finest salespeople. She began as a part time leasing agent, and grew to full time about one year ago. Marie led the company with 55 rents in the summer of 2008, and closed on the show at 66%. Marie says that, “A sales person is not only some one who likes to talk, but needs to enjoy... listening, being open and honest, and providing outstanding service to each prospect.” Her personal connections with prospects has clearly paid off, and we thank Marie for increasing the value of our asset through her outstanding sales record.

Amanda Holt joined Timberland Properties in St. Cloud as a part time leasing agent a year and a half ago.  She was recently promoted to Assistant Manager in June of 2008.  Amanda brings with her a degree in Advertising, Communications and Design from St. Cloud State, and has used her knowledge to begin a promising career in the multi housing industry.  We would like to recognize Amanda specifically for her outstanding closing ratio.  In the summer of 2008, Amanda closed on the showing at a rate of 82.93%.  More than 8 out of every 10 prospects that Amanda toured with submitted an application to live at Timberland Properties.  Her positive attitude has clearly enhanced the value of the asset by attracting new residents, and we thank Amanda for her hard work and talent.

Chris Kazee came to work at The Pines of Cloverlane in March of 2005, when Timberland Partners purchased the property.  Recently, Chris’s leadership helped this community to turn 138 apartments in 45 days.  He’s driven, has a “can-do” attitude and is willing to do whatever it takes to help his team succeed.  Chris manages the largest maintenance team in the Timberland Partners portfolio: 19 employees, including painting, make ready, and service departments.  Chris coordinated and oversaw renovations on 409 units - all within budget.  He found innovative ways to save us money on maintenance supplies and equipment.  Chris is an incredible asset to our company and we are thankful for his hard work and dedication.

Judy Marty is the community manager at Eagle Pointe Apartments in West St. Paul, MN.  Her fantastic customer service results in the most impressive resident retention record in the entire company.  The annualized resident turnover at Eagle Pointe over the last year was 41%, well below the national average, and truly an outstanding achievement.  Judy also managed to retain all of her existing residents throughout an extensive renovation, which took away the use of balconies, patios, and the outdoor pool through an entire summer.  Now her residents can enjoy a beautifully landscaped courtyard and an impressive new exterior, among other improvements. Timberland Partners is extremely thankful to Judy for exemplifying our Core Values and demonstrating that they create positive work environments, happy residents, and investor returns.
